Peach Butter Fruit Salad Sauce
This no-cook Peach Butter Fruit Salad Sauce comes together in minutes and adds a bright, Southern-inspired finish to any bowl of fresh fruit. Lightly sweet, gently tangy, and easy to customize, it’s perfect for brunches, potlucks, or an everyday upgrade to fruit salad.
Yield: About ¾ cup sauce (enough for 6–8 cups of fruit)
Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients
- ½ cup jarred Sweet Home Peach Butter
- 1–3 tablespoons water or orange juice, to desired consistency
- 1 tablespoon lemon or lime juice (for a bright, tart contrast)
Optional:
- Dash of cinnamon
- Finely chopped fresh mint
Instructions
- In a small bowl or Mason jar, combine the Sweet Home Peach Butter, 1 tablespoon of water or orange juice, and the lemon or lime juice.
- Whisk vigorously (or seal and shake the jar) until smooth and fully combined.
- Adjust the consistency by adding additional water or juice, one tablespoon at a time, until the sauce reaches a pourable or light dressing consistency.
- Taste and stir in cinnamon or fresh mint, if using.
To Assemble Your Fruit Salad
Prep the Fruit: Wash and dry all fresh fruit thoroughly. Berries, sliced bananas, grapes, and sliced peaches pair especially well with this sauce.
Dress the Salad: Drizzle the peach butter sauce over the fruit in a large bowl and gently toss to coat.
Serve: Enjoy immediately or refrigerate for 1–2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
Storage
- Store leftover sauce or dressed fruit salad in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 1–2 days.
- Stir gently before serving, as natural separation may occur.
