Sweet Onion Chow Chow Quesadillas

Crispy, cheesy quesadillas filled with tender chicken and Sweet Onion Chow Chow for a tangy Southern twist. Easy to make and perfect for snacks, lunches, or casual dinners.

Yield: Makes 2 large quesadillas (serves 4 as a snack)
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 8–10 minutes
Total Time: About 20 minutes

Ingredients

4 large flour tortillas
2 cups shredded cooked chicken or rotisserie chicken
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup Sweet Home Sweet Onion Chow Chow
¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
Sour cream and salsa, for serving

Instructions

Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
Place one tortilla in the skillet and sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the surface.
Top with half of the shredded chicken, Sweet Onion Chow Chow, and chopped cilantro.
Place a second tortilla on top and press down gently.
Cook for 2–3 minutes per side, until the tortillas are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Repeat with remaining ingredients to make the second quesadilla.
Remove from skillet and cut each quesadilla into wedges.
Serve hot with sour cream and salsa for dipping.
