Ingredients

• 1 unbaked pie shell
• 4 egg whites
• 4 egg yolks
• ½ cup Sweet Home Muscadine Jelly
• ½ cup butter, softened
• 1½ cups sugar
• 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter until smooth.
3. Add sugar and beat well until light and fluffy.
4. Beat the egg yolks separately, then add them to the butter and sugar mixture.
5. Add Muscadine Jelly and mix until fully incorporated.
6. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
7. Gently fold the egg whites into the jelly mixture.
8. Add lemon juice and mix gently.
9. Pour filling into the unbaked pie shell.
10. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until set and lightly golden.
11. Cool before slicing and serving.
