Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup Sweet Home Cowboy Pepper Jelly
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices of cooked bacon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Place two slices of bread, butter side down, on a cutting board.
  3. Spread Cowboy Pepper Jelly on each slice of bread.
  4. Top each slice with a slice of cheddar cheese and bacon if desired.
  5. Place the remaining bread slices on top, butter side up.
  6. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  7. Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  8. Remove from the skillet and let cool for a minute before slicing. Serve hot and enjoy the sweet and spicy flavors!
