Cowboy Candy–Glazed Biscuits

These flaky biscuits are brushed with a glossy glaze made from Sweet Home Candied Jalapeños, creating the perfect balance of buttery, sweet, and gently spicy. They’re ideal alongside scrambled eggs, breakfast casseroles, or as part of a brunch spread.

Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated buttermilk biscuits (or homemade biscuits if preferred)
  • ¼ cup Sweet Home Candied Jalapeños
  • 2 tablespoons syrup from the candied jalapeños jar
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Optional: pinch of salt or cracked black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven according to biscuit package directions.
  2. Bake biscuits until golden and fully cooked.
  3. While biscuits bake, finely chop the candied jalapeños.
  4. In a small bowl, mix chopped jalapeños with the jalapeño syrup and melted butter.
  5. Remove biscuits from the oven and immediately brush generously with the candied jalapeño glaze.
  6. Return biscuits to the oven for 2–3 minutes, just until the glaze sets and becomes glossy.
  7. Serve warm.
