Ingredients
- 1 cup finely diced sweet peppers (red & green bell peppers)
- ½ cup finely diced onion
- ½ cup Sweet Home Mild Onion Chow Chow, finely chopped
- ¼ cup Sweet Home Cowboy Five Pepper Jelly, chopped or whisked smooth
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp Sweet Home Red Muscadine Juice
- 1 tbsp sugar (optional, for balance)
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional, to taste)

Sauté the base
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add peppers and onion. Cook 5–7 minutes until softened.

Build the flavor
Stir in the chopped Chow Chow, Cowboy Five Pepper Jelly, apple cider vinegar, and Red Muscadine Juice.

Simmer & thicken
Reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened and relish-like.

Season to taste
Add salt, sugar (if using), and red pepper flakes. Adjust heat and sweetness as desired.

Let cool completely. Store refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
