Yield: 4 servings
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 6–8 minutes
Total Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients
- 4 fresh flounder fillets (5–6 oz each)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- Lemon wedges, for serving
- Fresh parsley or chives, for garnish (optional)
- Sweet Home Cowboy Hot Pepper Relish for dipping
Instructions
-
Preheat the Grill
Heat grill to medium-high (about 400°F). Lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking. -
Season the Flounder
Pat fillets dry. Brush both sides with olive oil and lemon juice. Season evenly with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. -
Grill the Fish
Place fillets directly on the grill or on a well-oiled grill mat. Grill for 3–4 minutes per side, just until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Avoid overcooking—flounder cooks quickly. -
Finish & Serve
Transfer fillets to a serving platter. Spoon Sweet Home Cowboy Hot Pepper Relish generously over the top or serve it on the side for guests to add to taste. -
Garnish & Enjoy
Finish with lemon wedges and fresh herbs if desired. Serve immediately.
